Reading Cafe Sci would like to extend a invitation to the Basingstoke Friends and Cafe Sci followers to attend this free talk. Tonight there will be a talk by Dr Ceri Brenner, the co-chair of the BSA Reading branch and a senior application development scientist at the Central Laser Facility, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, specialising in using the most powerful lasers in the world for applications in medicine through to manufacturing. Ceri will present "Shining Bright: 3 reasons to celebrate 2018 Nobel Prize in Physics". She will be talking about the recent Nobel Prize in Physics and what it means to her and her field of research. The presentation will be followed by a Q and A session.
